THE FOUNDER, MASTER DANIEL AUSTIN

"Life is an illusion of a prefabricated reality that recycles into our eyes everyday in different perspectives and we all strive to connect to."

ABOUT MASTER DANIEL AUSTIN
"I am a product of an unfolding mystery which I take time to unveil every day on my zero canvas. In my pursuit of cognitive discovery, I realized that the sky is not a limit but merely a stepping stone to boundless possibilities yet unknown." I was always a student of originality, embracing innocent thinking and a free spirit. While I was educated in the School of Athens (the academic system), I didn't adhere strictly to their rules. Instead, I prefer to navigate to my creativity, authenticity, and my unique approach to life. I embraced the realm of organized chaos, seeking to understand myself and find where I truly belong. As a skeptic, I like to question to understand and to believe. I've often debated my own concept and philosophy with the ancient gods of the pantheon. To grasp their syntheses, I studied their languages and, from that understanding, developed my own conclusions. I have woven their philosophies into the fabric of my moral compass, guiding my thoughts in a serpentine dance. Every day, I strive to live by the example I teach to others. My really inseparable companions are my Art, my Book, the Bible, the Torah, the Prophets, the Qur’an, the Republic, the Capital, the Wealth of Nations, my Webster's dictionaries, and my aged encyclopedias—treasured volumes that rest beside me each night. I am both a nerd and a dreamer, and I take pride in the freedom that defines my existence. Yes, I am an Interpressionist."

MASTER DANIEL AUSTIN VISION
Master Daniel Austin is the founder of the Interpressionism movement, which he established in 1989 as a response to his rebellion against the pervasive "déjà vu" of collective imitation. His life's work spans over 40 years of meticulous research, resulting in an impressive collection of more than 1,000 unique pieces of original artwork. These rare and one-of-a-kind works are now permanently displayed at the Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI ART), a nonprofit organization. Established in 2020, after transforming his art gallery of 29 years into a museum. The Museum's mission is to share Master Austin's vision of Interpressionism with the world and to safeguard his and other Interpressionist artists' works for future generations to enjoy them.
The virtual museum, featuring Austin's collective artwork creations, embodies the essence of the Interpressionism movement. It is organized into 11 showrooms and lobbies, each representing a distinct phase in the evolution of Austin's brushstroke technique. Visitors can explore his journey from the early, naive, and primitive periods to his struggles to break free from the confines of collective imitation. They will witness the artist's quest for identity, capturing the essence of his inner expression and originality, leading to the birth of the Interpressionism movement. The exhibit culminates in showcasing the maturity of his technique and the signature pieces that define the movement.
MOI ART’s primary objectives are to educate the public, preserve the legacy of Interpressionism, and promote cultural heritage diversity. We invite you to explore the Virtual Museum of Interpressionism Art and hope you find it both enlightening and easy to navigate. To support our efforts in constructing a physical museum, we welcome donations to the MOI ART Construction Fund. We are seeking patrons and philanthropists who share our vision. Thank you for visiting, and welcome to the Virtual Museum of Interpressionism Art.

"The future of the Interpressionism movement is flourishing and shines brightly on the horizon. This photograph, taken in 2018, captures a significant moment at the grand premiere event during the presentation of the Interpressionism Movement at the Museum of the African American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC) in Broward County, Florida.
The event introduced this emerging art movement to a vast audience in Florida. In the image, Master Daniel proudly stands alongside a group of Gen-Z students from the “SAILBOAT Academy” in Pensacola, Florida, representing the next generation of Interpressionist artists and thinkers. Together, we are building the world of tomorrow—one child, one group, one generation at a time."

A VISIONARY, AND A MAN ON A MISSION
Daniel Austin: The Visionary Behind Interpressionism
Master Daniel Austin is a man of many talents: an economist, researcher, philosopher, master painter, author, publisher, humanitarian, and philanthropist. As the founder of the Interpressionism Art Movement and its school of thought, Austin has dedicated himself to creating a new school of thought for the millennial and Gen Z generations. Recognizing that these generations lacked a distinct artistic identity, Austin sought to address this void.
In 1989, Master Austin established the Interpressionism Movement with its School of thought, designed to provide a unique and original form of artistic expression for these younger generations. Like any great art movement, Interpressionism stands as a protest—a rebellion against the pervasive "Déjà vu collective imitation." This movement emerged as a fresh alternative to challenge the outdated norms of art and education. "Austin believes that art and originality are unique disciplines that cannot be taught or transferred from one individual to another"
Master Austin's commitment to this cause is evident through his tireless efforts to elevate Interpressionism within the global cultural landscape. The movement is structured around four key institutions:
1. The Interpressionism Movement itself
2. The Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI Art)
3. The School of Interpressionism Movement (SOI.Edu)
4. Sir Austin Interpressionism Art Gallery, LLC
The goal of these organizations is to promote this cutting-edge art movement, aspiring to integrate it into the global mainstream. As Master Austin articulated, "The creation of the Interpressionism Movement is meant to challenge the obsolete status quo of our educational systems. We offer the School of Interpressionism as a viable and innovative alternative."
Master Austin believes in making Interpressionism accessible to everyone—artists, thinkers, academics, students, and beyond. The movement invites all to explore its potential, promoting a new approach to teaching and artistic practice. Its philosophy is rooted in originality, encouraging individuals to express creativity through innerself, their intrinsic, cognitive perspective. By doing so, artists and thinkers can escape the confines of conventional thinking and avoid the trap of the "Déjà vu" collective imitation. They will finally, remove themselves from this invisible box.
The Interpressionism Movement is not just an art form but a legacy, a new philosophy, a school of thought that Austin hopes will endure, offering a fresh perspective to humanity and a new path for future generations.

🔹 The Historical Purpose
Interpressionism is an artistic and philosophical movement founded by Master Daniel Austin in 1989, established to close a historic generational gap that followed the last two globally recognized art movements of the 20th century:
-
Pop Art, led by Andy Warhol, dominated the cultural space of the 1960s and 1980s.
-
Graffiti Art, championed by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Willem de Kooning, and others, defined the underground and expressive force of the 1970s to early 1980s.
After these movements, two entire generations—Millennials and Generation Z—were left without a school of thought or artistic movement they could claim as their own. This marked the first time in modern art history that generational identity lacked a corresponding art form.
“I created the Interpressionism Movement to correct this historical gap—so that these generations can finally claim their own school of thought, their own art movement, and their own voice in the legacy of culture.”
— Master Daniel Austin
🔸 2. What Makes It Different?
-
It fuses Impressionism and Expressionism instead of opposing them.
-
It interconnects the seen and unseen, the structured and the spontaneous.
-
It is based on the intentional organization of chaos, not learned technique.
-
Its brushstrokes are unfinished yet complete, provoking questions rather than answers.
-
The viewer becomes a decoder, not a passive observer.
🔸 3. Why It Matters Today
-
It offers a new visual and cognitive language for our fractured world.
-
It challenges the idea of mastery as repetition—and instead restores origin as truth.
It serves as the philosophical foundation for the Virtual Museum of Interpressionist Art (MOI Art), preserving a body of work that redefines art’s role in meaning-making and cultural continuity.
of culture.”
