1. GETTING TO KNOW US

Spark Your Imagination

At the Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI ART), our priority is to ensure that every visitor feels welcome and inspired each time they experience the MOI ART virtual museum. We invite audiences to explore the remarkable private collection of Master Daniel Austin, alongside works by other artists, in an environment designed to spark curiosity and cultivate a deeper appreciation for artistic expression.

Since our launch in 2019, we have remained devoted to enriching the lives of all who engage with our museum. Through its vision, exhibitions, and educational mission, the MOI ART Museum seeks to embody the spirit and intellectual foundation of the Interpressionism Movement, a new school of thought in art that resonates with Millennial and Generation Z audiences while remaining deeply respectful of established artistic traditions.

2. OUR VISION

At the Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI ART), we envision a future where people from all walks of life, across the globe, come to visit the Museum in New York. This virtual museum offers a glimpse into what the physical MOI ART Museum will one day become. As with any museum mission, beyond showcasing art and exhibitions, the MOI ART Museum is deeply committed to education and humanitarian efforts, providing philanthropic services in partnership with governmental and nonprofit organizations in the fight against global poverty. In this mission, we rely on your continued support and sponsorship. We are eager to collaborate with organizations and individuals who share our vision, as we recognize that we cannot achieve this alone.

The Museum of Interpressionism Art is a recognized brand, officially published in the Government Gazette of the United States in 2023. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone. We believe that when you feel welcome and invested in our mission, you will embrace our vision and the Interpressionism Movement as your own. As part of our commitment to accessibility at the MOI ART Virtual Museum, we offer discounts to our partners, as well as to children and senior citizens who visit our events. We look forward to the day when we can welcome you to our remarkable facilities and assure you that each visit will be a worthy and enriching experience.

To keep visits to the virtual museum dynamic and engaging, we regularly host exciting exhibitions featuring both emerging and established artists. Throughout the year, we will organize a diverse array of art events and exhibitions, both private and public, to integrate the Interpressionism Movement into New York’s cultural mainstream. Until our physical museum is built, the MOI ART Virtual Museum will serve as the primary venue for promoting this innovative art movement around the world. Thanks to the accessibility of the internet, anyone, anywhere, can visit our museum and enjoy the stunning works curated by Master Daniel Austin and other Interpressionism artists.

C)  Our Objectives

We came to New York with the mission to establish the Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI ART) in the “Big Apple,” welcoming people from all walks of life, from across the globe, to experience the extraordinary, one-of-a-kind masterpieces of art featured at this museum. Curated by Master Daniel Austin, alongside other distinguished Interpressionist artists, the MOI ART Museum stands as a testament to this unique art movement, which has existed since 1989.

The concept of establishing his own Museum of Art (MOI ART) has been a dream of Master Daniel Austin since 2008, following the closure of his Sir Austin Interpressionism Art Gallery in downtown Hollywood, Florida. As the founder of the Interpressionism Movement, Master Daniel understands that it is essential to continue our dedicated efforts to integrate the Interpressionism Movement into the mainstream, with the ultimate goal of embedding it into the curricula of schools and universities worldwide. As he stated:

“The Interpressionism Movement presents a new and compelling challenge to professors, students, researchers, academics, art enthusiasts, collectors, professional artists, and historians alike. It calls upon them to engage deeply with this art movement and contribute to its study and appreciation.”

Driven by a deep commitment to his core humanitarian and philanthropic mission, Austin has always been available and eager to share his vision with the world. In 2011, Master Austin warmly opened the doors of Sir Austin’s Interpressionism Hall, his home studio, to welcome members of the press, historians, art collectors, patrons, students, and special guests, offering them an intimate tour and a closer look into his canvas, his creative process, and his artistic philosophy. As he stated, “We are making significant progress toward achieving our mission and objectives at a highly satisfactory pace.”

Understanding the realities of the internet, Master Daniel has used online platforms to promote the movement while also making his dream of having his own museum a reality by publishing the Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI ART) on Shopify. In 2018, Master hosted BECON TV, a Broward County public educational telecommunications network, at his home, Sir Austin’s Interpressionism Hall, for a documentary video about his life and the Interpressionism Movement. That same year, he also presented the largest exhibition of Interpressionist Art at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC), the third-largest African American museum in the nation.

In 2019, during the pandemic, we finalized the Virtual Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI ART), filed for trademark protection, and established our online presence. Since then, people from all around the world have been able to visit the virtual Museum of Interpressionism Art online. This virtual museum is the first step toward realizing our vision: the construction of a physical MOI ART Museum, which we aspire to establish in New York.

Master Daniel has become an internet guru by continuing to engage passionately with people and promote the Interpressionism Movement through his book, his art, social gardening, and numerous guest speaking engagements. In addition to regularly blogging on his website, he frequently explains and showcases the principles of Interpressionism through his artworks on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, reaching new audiences and adherents.

One of our objectives at the MOI ART Museum is to promote the Interpressionism Movement throughout the world. Our hope is to see this art movement, along with the concept and philosophy of the School of Interpressionism, one day embraced by the mainstream, with its principles integrated into the curricula of schools and universities around the world.

The Interpressionism Movement represents a challenge and a new breath of freshness, one that seeks to strengthen our educational system beyond the obsolete status quo of the “déjà vu” collective imitation of traditional learning methodologies. We all agree that the time has come to innovate our educational system. But with what teaching methodology?

History has revealed that every forty to fifty years, humanity goes through a period of renewal and reinvention. As human beings, we must continually revisit our past while challenging the present with new and innovative ideas that can lead to progress in our evolution. Therefore, our responsibility is to educate future generations to be more receptive to change and to new ideas that inspire creativity, self-discovery, and growth.

4. OUR INSPIRATIONAL HISTORY

Our Roots

Since our inception in 1989, we have remained committed to a serious promise: to offer an unparalleled educational experience on the Interpressionism Movement to each one of our visitors around the world. From the beginning, our mission has been to research, document, and explain to the world the significance of this new cutting-edge art movement. Each year, we grow more determined in our pursuit. Our vision is for the Interpressionism Movement to expand in influence and impact the world. We are dedicated to promoting it anywhere and whenever possible, through social media and other avenues such as the virtual Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI ART), the School of Interpressionism movement, and Sir Austin Interpressionism Art Gallery, etc. A key component of our mission is to visit schools, universities, and art ateliers globally, educating both teachers and students about this innovative art concept, as well as engaging the general public in this new form of expression.

Why is this important?

The Interpressionism Movement represents a refreshing and innovative approach that challenges the outdated educational status quo. Master Daniel Austin calls for a reform of the traditional methods of teaching art in schools and universities. As he eloquently states, “I strongly believe that, once understood, the world will embrace the fascinating innovation that the Interpressionism Movement represents.”

In 2018, Master Daniel Austin realized a significant part of his vision when he was invited to present The Interpressionism Movement at a major premiere event: a solo exhibition at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. More than 200 pieces of his artwork were displayed in a 5,000-square-foot space for two months.

Master Daniel Austin has always envisioned sharing the Interpressionism Movement with an international audience. Thanks to modern and virtual technology, he is now closer than ever to achieving this goal through the Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI ART). Now, with just a click, anyone can visit the MOI ART Museum and explore 11 rooms and lobbies filled with artwork, all from the comfort of home.

While we are still alive, our priority is to bring the Interpressionism Movement to the forefront of the global cultural landscape. To achieve this, we must bring the Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI ART) and the ‘Interpressionism School of Thought’ (SOI) to fruition.

This means constructing the physical Museum of Interpressionism Art (MOI ART) in New York and integrating the School of Interpressionism (SOI) into the mainstream of schools and universities. To realize these ambitious goals, we will also rely on your financial support. In the coming years, we will initiate various social activities and campaigns to raise funds, while also seeking assistance from philanthropic organizations both domestically and internationally.

We also look forward to generous contributions from supporters like you. We urge you to join us in building these projects in the United States and around the world. We will not rest until our mission is accomplished, ensuring that the legacy of the Interpressionism Movement endures for all humankind.
