If there is desire, in 2045 this Island can be once again one of the best places on earth for tourism. 18 in x 24 in; pencil drawing on Mate. ©2010, by Master Daniel Austin..

Sometimes the artist has to follow the breeze of his mind and do what his hand wants him to do. This painting is one of these examples. It is really the return of the artist to a childlike mentality. As one can see, the artist painted this piece with an innocent hand, with no respect for the norms. This is also the beauty of his style that makes it unique. 12' X 14', oil on canvas by Master Daniel Austin. © 2013.

One of the early sketches of the artist showing two countryside people crossing each other on their way to work : One to the mountain the other to the market place. This is the life of many people living in the country side. As you can see the artist was still influenced by the primitive style. This sketch is also part of his 'deja vu' influence and his struggle to find his own identity. 16x20, pencil on museum paper.© 1995 Daniel Austin.

Decorative Art, can be displayed anywhere in your house, especially your Kitchen and living room. This sketch is a continuous celebration of the artist homage to his Haitian roots and cultural heritage. Sketch on fine Art museum paper by Master Daniel Austin. © 2014.

The artist drew this sketch as an appreciation and an acknowledgement of the importance of the country side people in the society. They are the guardians and preservationists of the old traditional dance, folklore, and the real culture of a group of people. This is homage to the roots of our cultural heritages and traditions and the respect of the elders. 18'x24' Pencil drawing on special museum paper. ©by Master Daniel Austin.

Pencil drawing on canvas, one of my early sketches on canvas, a study to understand how pencil, charcoal work on canvas, and other fabric. This drawing is imaginative. 24' x 36' pencil on canvas by Master Daniel Austin. ©2006. (Orig. SOLD)

Orphan is also referring to the solitude of the artist. At a very young age Austin recognized his talent but he refused to be identified as an artist because of the stereotyping of people who are artists. Also he doesn't want to be part of the circle of copiers and imitators. Even young Austin wanted to be original and unique with his own style. this drawing is part of the artist homage to his culture Heritage and also part of his 'deja vu', his struggle to find his identity, 16x20. ©1989 Austin
